Student Athlete Corner
There are several steps you need to take to become an eligible student athlete. Some of them include things any student attending a university must do while some are only necessary for student athletes.
Requirements for Student Athlete Eligibility
• Amateur status as an athlete
• Record of athletic participation in a competitive level
• Basic understanding of the English language
• High school diploma
If you pass all these criteria, studying as student athlete should be an option for you!
SAT Test
The SAT is the test used by most colleges to help decide whether to admit students or not (along with GPA, transcript, recommendations, etc.). Not all schools require the SAT. but the great majority do. In a nutshell, the SAT is offered 7 times a year, lasts for 3 hours and 45 minutes, and has 3 sections(math, reading, writing).
A good SAT score is whatever you need to be competitive in the eyes of your target schools. The average on each section of the test is around a 500.

TOEFL Test
The TOEFL exam is approximately 4-1/2 hours long, and is divided into four sections that integrate all four of these English language skills:
- Reading: 60- 100 minutes; 3-5 passages, followed by comprehension questions
- Listening: 60-90 minutes, 2-3 conversations
- Speaking: 20 minutes; 6 tasks with 15-30 seconds to prepare and 45-60 seconds to speak
- Writing: 50 minutes, 2 writing tasks
TOEFL Preparation

NCAA Eligibility Center
Students who want’s to participate in NCAA college athletics need to sing up with NCAA Eligibility Center. They check that you are eligible when it comes to academics and amateurism. You will need to answer a questionnaire regarding your athletic history and also send in your High School transcripts and test scores.
